Almesan


1/4 C slivered almonds
1 T toasted sesame seeds
1/8 t salt
1/4 t lemon zest

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Pulse until everything turns into tiny crumbs. Use as you would use parmesan cheese.

  1. It looks like Parmesan and tastes good on its own, but I couldn't taste it on my pasta, which hardly qualifies it as a condiment.
