Title: Olive Puffs

1 pkg. frozen puff pastry dough, thawed
1 can tomato paste
1 C olive tapenade

Unroll the thawed puff pastry dough and roll out the sheet to a large rectangle. Spread tomato paste and then olive tapenade over the entire surface. Roll one side of the dough to the middle, then start from the other side and roll it into the middle. Slice into half-inch scrolls and lay cut side down on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes at 450° F or until brown.

  1. These aren't as good as you'd think. The puff pastry dough is kinda nasty. I think it would probably be better to dispense with the tomato paste and olive tapenade and just wrap up some big huge tasty stuffed olives in a bit of dough, and leave it at that.
