3/4 C cashews
1/4 - small orange bell pepper, roughly chopped
1 t salt
1 t onion powder
1/2 t oil
2 T lemon juice
1 C water
4 t powdered agar (or 1/4 C flakes)
In a food processor, blend the cashews, bell pepper, salt, onion powder, oil, and lemon juice until smooth.
In a small saucepan on high heat, bring the water to a boil. Reduce heat and whisk in agar, stirring often until it starts to thicken. Spoon into food processor and blend with cashew mixture until smooth. Spread evenly in square or rectangular container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before using.
