Mushroom Gravy

6 - button mushrooms, finely chopped
2 T margarine
3 T flour
1 T nutritional yeast
1/4 t ground black pepper
1 t Braggs or tamari
1 C vegetable stock

In a medium saucepan on medium-high heat, saute the mushrooms in margarine until soft. Add the flour, nutritional yeast, pepper, and Braggs, and stir constantly until thickened.

Whisk in stock 1/4 cup at a time, stirring constantly until thickened. Transfer to a blender or food processor to blend if you want smooth gravy, or serve as is.
